About Us
Started by Jimmy and Jo Grubbs, Mama Jo's has been serving refreshing lemonade to festival-goers for about 14 years. The lemonade, made from a secret recipe, is named after Mrs. Grubbs herself. "It's a secret recipe that we've had. It's just ours. It hasn't been passed down," said "Mama Jo" Grubbs.
That is until now. John Grubbs, the couples younger son, and his wife, Julie, have stepped in to carry on the family business. "Where I'm from, there are a lot of 'mom and pop shops.' And its really sad to see them close down when the parent(s) can no longer run the business and the children don't feel like taking it over," said Julie Grubbs.
